Yesterday we made a trip to Chatsworth house which is the seat of Duke of Devonshire. It's also the original house that Jane Austen based on the Pemberley, the estate of Mr. Darcy in Pride and Prejudice. The house is very beautiful and you feel like you've in a totally different time (I kinda felt like I should have worn some big and fancy dress yesterday). Attached to the house is massive garden and parklands. Here's some pics of the place, it was really worth of the visit tho the weather was shite.

There was quite large maze in which I managed to get lost and found loads of dead ends before finding my way to centre of the maze.
I even tried to take a short cut but it was bit more difficult than I expected..
In the garden was sculpture exhibition going on. Some of the art pieces were really interesting.
